How do you organize your books?
Either at home on your bookshelves or on your reading-device, or on your bookish platform like Goodreads, Leafmarks or Booklikes.
★– Physical Books
Most of my physical books are in storage because there is no room for them in my house plus with two toddlers and a baby it is not the most ideal place for books. Anyway, when I did have my books with me I would organize by series, author, if they were standalone books I would arrange them by size.
Now, if I had my dream book room I would probably organize it by series and have that series done in alphabetical order. I use to organize everything I mean EVERYTHING by color and alphabetical so I would probably do that with my books if I had a bookshelf.
I don’t know if I mentioned this but my fiancé bought me a kindle fire for Valentines day which I’m totally in love with. So anyway, you can make collections with your books to keep track of them. So far, I have them grouped either by series, author, TBR, or recently purchased.
My goodreads is completely unorganized. I even deleted most of the books and started all over but that still means all the new books are totally unorganized. But I do plan on organizing. It is in fact one of my goals for the year. I do have a couple shelves which are for buddy reads, monthly reads, review requests, net galley etc. but I want to make it better. So I am thinking up different ways to really have it organized but for now it is a disaster.
I am a totally neat freak [just don’t look at my goodreads] and I organize my TBR for the month. I have a planner specifically for blogging and I usually plan out my TBR during those days so that I can pace myself.
I have created accounts at booklikes, shelfari etc. but I am just getting started on those sites and I have not even been able to organize it the way I like. Once I’m caught up on all my reviews I’ll probably take some time and set those up.
