Hannah Wells has finally found someone who turns her on. But while she might be confident in every other area of her life, she’s carting around a full set of baggage when it comes to sex and seduction. If she wants to get her crush’s attention, she’ll have to step out of her comfort zone and make him take notice…even if it means tutoring the annoying, childish, cocky captain of the hockey team in exchange for a pretend date.
…and it’s going to be oh so good.
All Garrett Graham has ever wanted is to play professional hockey after graduation, but his plummeting GPA is threatening everything he’s worked so hard for. If helping a sarcastic brunette make another guy jealous will help him secure his position on the team, he’s all for it. But when one unexpected kiss leads to the wildest sex of both their lives, it doesn’t take long for Garrett to realize that pretend isn’t going to cut it. Now he just has to convince Hannah that the man she wants looks a lot like him.
A very special thanks you to the ladies and gentlemen in The Locker Room group on Facebook for telling me to read The Deal.
Why? Why did it take me so long to read this? Why didn’t Blessie shove this in my face earlier? WHY? Those are all the questions I am asking now that I have binge read The Off Campus Series.
I finally understand why everyone loves Garrett. He is sexy, cocky, and funny and has a big heart. I personally think I fell faster for Garrett than Hannah therefore that should make him mine but whatever.
Hannah was actually a really great female lead. I loved that she didn’t care for Garrett’s charm and wasn’t afraid to tell him no. I especially liked that she could hold her own and wasn’t afraid to be herself.
I especially loved Hannah and Garrett together. I loved how their relationship started as an actual friendship. It was a slow building relationship. I loved the banter between the both of them.
I was entirely invested in the story and you literally could not find me without my phone or kindle on hand so that I could continue reading. It left me wanting more and I ended up purchasing the rest of the series so that I could get to know the rest of the guys.
So if you like hockey, have a bit of a dirty mind (or a lot) and love a hot hockey guy that could make you blush then you should definitely read The Deal.
