Disclaimer:- This is NOT a romance. This is a hilariously screwed-up love story.- This book does NOT have a typical happily-ever-after.- The hero and heroine in this book are NOT billionaires who look like supermodels. They are normal people, like you and me.
Description: Laney Hill is screwed. On the bed. On the treadmill. On the hood of a BMW. And on her boss’s desk. Then she’s screwed again when she steps into the free clinic and finds out she has gonorrhea. That dirty prick gave her gonorrhea! She’s totally going to break up with him...until he breaks up with her...because he’s married!
A night out drinking with friends leads to a fateful--yet awkwardly-sloppy--kiss between her and her best friend George Bratton.
George has been single and pining for his ex-girlfriend ever since their breakup two years ago. When his ex invites him to her destination wedding in London, self-destructive George and gonorrhea survivor Laney make a deal to go as each other’s dates. It will make great material for Laney’s “Anti-Romance” blog and maybe it will help George finally get over his ex. Nothing could possibly go wrong, right?

Anti- Romance is a novel I bought based on the cover and the synopsis but mostly the cover.

This was a very quick read and I found myself laughing throughout most of the book. I must warn you it ends with a cliffhanger and it does have a semi-love triangle. So if any of these aren’t your cup of tea then don’t read this.

Anti-Romance is about Laney and it is told from her prospective. Laney runs a blog called “Anti-Romance” where she dates a wide variety of guys to prove that romance is in fact dead. She blogs about the relationships she’s in with this unreliable men and how it ends and has a ton of subscribers who live for her experiences.

Laney is a pretty closed off person; she doesn’t let that many people into her world. She’s also selfish but I would say that could be both a good and bad thing. I loved her sense of humor and her comebacks because I can easily see myself saying something almost exactly the same.

I won’t lie, Laney is a mess. A huge disaster. Yet, she has two wonderful guys who are after her heart. One is a sexy neighbor and the other is her best friend. But could Laney decide between the two because let me tell you I wouldn’t be able to decide. So whom does Laney pick?? UM I DON’T KNOW IT ENDED IN A CLIFFHANGER!!!

Anyway, I will for sure pick up the second book when it’s released and I also want to pick up the coloring book that is mentioned in the book because that would most definitely help me with waiting for the second book.
