From wharf fights and school brawls to crumbling lives inside glittery mansions, one guy tries to save himself.
THESE ROYALS WILL RUIN YOU...
Reed Royal has it all—looks, status, money. The girls at his elite prep school line up to date him, the guys want to be him, but Reed never gave a damn about anyone but his family until Ella Harper walked into his life.
What started off as burning resentment and the need to make his father’s new ward suffer turned into something else entirely—keep Ella close. Keep Ella safe. But when one foolish mistake drives her out of Reed’s arms and brings chaos to the Royal household, Reed’s entire world begins to fall apart around him.
Ella doesn’t want him anymore. She says they’ll only destroy each other.
SHE MIGHT BE RIGHT.
Secrets. Betrayal. Enemies. It’s like nothing Reed has ever dealt with before, and if he’s going to win back his princess, he’ll need to prove himself Royally worthy.

Immediately after finishing Paper Princess, I pulled up Amazon and purchased both Broken Prince and Twisted Palace because I was hooked.

I honestly thought the cliffhanger in Paper Princess was bad but let me tell you, Broken Prince had a cliffhanger that left me saying:

Broken Prince picks up right where Paper Princess ends. What I really liked about Broken Prince is that it is told in both Reed and Ella’s point of view. Paper Princess was only told in Ella’s point of view so it was nice to read another view of the story.

Broken Prince was definitely a page turning and it left me wanting to see where the story went. You know how most second books tend to have the middle child syndrome where it’s not the best in the series but it is also not the worst? Well, Broken Prince doesn’t have that. It is far more twisted than Paper Princess. Like I mentioned in my previous review of Paper Princess, there was a shit ton of drama and of course Broken Prince also has a shit ton of drama ONLY JUCIER.

I really enjoyed the growth of Ella. I felt like she was finally coming into her own skin and even though I didn’t agree with all of her actions, she did it with good intentions so she gets a bit of a pass from me.

Reed still hasn’t won me over, like I think he’s sweet and all but I don’t know. Easton just owns my heart and I don’t think Reed can compete. I do feel like Broken Prince brings out a different side of Reed that makes me warm up to him but I still don’t think he’s won me over.

EASTON AND VAL. I absolutely love these two and I want another set of books based on them. Val is hilarious and I’m curious to know more about her. I could totally see her with Easton or Wade but in all honesty I’m rooting for Wade here.

Easton, Easton, mi amorsote (that means big love, in case you didn’t know lol). I feel like he has a whole layer we’re not seeing and I want to see it. Just give me more Easton, Erin Watt! GIVE ME EASTON!!!!

My Favorite Things about Broken Prince

The Drama – some of it was stupid but that doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy it.
The sexual tension – FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY PLEASE JUST DO IT ALREADY!!!
Easton & Val – They really make me care about them and I just want to be their friend.

    Things I didn’t like

    • Callum being so laid back about Reed’s and Ella’s relationship. DUDE, they’re horny teenagers living in YOUR HOUSE!!! I definitely wouldn’t be okay with that; my husband would definitely not be okay with that.
    • Dinah and Brooke. – Even though, they make the story extra juicy. I CANNOT STAND THEM. I WANT TO SLAP THEM BOTH.

I will say this book is not absolutely perfect and there are some things that others will find problematic and things that probably wouldn’t happen in real life. But for moving the plot along I think it was okay at least for me.

Overall, I am hooked on this series. SERIOUSLY THAT CLIFFHANGER!!!! I need to go now because I’ve have been reading Twisted Palace extremely slow just to try and savor it more. If you haven’t picked up Paper Princess or Broken Prince go do it.
