It’s the start of nothing good. I fired off a storm of raunchy text messages…to the wrong number. And he replied. Him: Show me a picture. Him: Tell me your name. Why does the lure of anonymity have me craving to indulge a stranger?

It’s the start of everything right. I received a slew of text messages…when everything in my life was wrong. And she made me laugh again.

Her: You’re probably a creeper.
Her: Possibly a stalker.
Why do I have the overwhelming need to find this stranger who saved me and make her mine?
Him: Take a chance with me.
Her: This is crazy.
Him: I need to see you.
Her: What are we doing?
Him: We’re about to find out.

I have this habit of looking at amazon for hours. That’s not like weird or anything right? Well I was looking up a book that at the moment I cannot remember the title but anyway Text 2 Lovers came up as a book Amazon thought I would enjoy. I read the synopsis, I thought to myself “Should you buy this?” the answer was no because I gave myself a strict budget this year. But I bought it anyway because hello, the synopsis!!!!

Funny story (sort of) one time this number texted me looking for another person, I explained that they had the wrong number and the guy was sad that the person had given him a “fake” number. We started talking and he asked me if I had any guys who were single and wanted to talk. I asked my friend and I passed the number along to my friend and they started dating! But then the guy turns all clingy and creepy stalker so that did not end well. But anyway, you can see why this story would appeal to me.

Text 2 Lovers is centered on Dani and Ram. Dani is way too nice for her own good. She’s a people pleasure and has a hard time telling people no. The story begins with Dani finding her boyfriend proposed to his neighbor with the money she lent him!!! And she then gets drunk and begins to text him a whole bunch of things that I won’t repeat except that it was the wrong number.

Ram has been in a depression and he’s trying to get his life on track. He sleeps all day stays up all night. That is if he does sleep at all. No one could get through to Ram but replies to the text that Dani sends and a friendship begins.

I really loved how the friendship blossomed and how Dani wasn’t afraid to be herself through text. I felt like both Ram and Dani brought something out of each other that made me believe in the relationship that flourished.

The writing was addicting and I couldn’t stop reading once I began and before I knew, I was at the ending. I also loved the jokes that were included and I found myself laughing and smiling at my iPad like a crazy person. I personally liked the relationship that Ram and Dani had but in all honesty I’m ready for Andie and Roman’s book.

Thank you Amazon for the recommendation. I absolutely loved this book and I can’t wait to read the second book in the series.
