Can you believe its May already? I feel like the year just started and now here we are in May. I don’t think I’ve shared my bullet journal set up and I thought it would be nice to show you guys some of the spreads I will be using in my red dotted leuchtturm1917 Medium size A5 hardcover.
May Starter Page – Every month I have a starter page, for May I decided to do a Catrina or Sugar Skull. There was no particular reason for this, I just decided it would be neat. I did not draw this, I traced it.
Monthly Calendar / Log – This is a monthly spread that I’ve been using for the past couple months. I find it to the most useful for me. For May, I used appointments/events, bills, Cristian (Little 1), Birthdays, Blog, Instagram Challenge, Kids Games + Practice, Personal, Pre-Orders and Work. This month, I added birthdays, pre-orders and Instagram challenge that I’m hosting. I found this spread to help me look at my month in an overview. I plan to stick with this spread for many months to come.
Habit Tracker + Mental Health – I have never fully completed a habit tracker but this month I’m working on completing it. You may be looking at this thinking that is a lot of things to track, I will admit that it is but some of them are blog related. I used my Faber Castell Artist Pens in F and Papermate Flair Felt Tip Pen in Candy Pop.
Self -Care Tracker + Mood Tracker – My self care tracker was inspired by Kara from Boho Berry. I thought this would be a really good idea to see how my moods look throughout the month. My mood tracker is another thing I got from Kara who got it from someone else, most people do a mandala but I’m not that artistic so I went for a simple triangle theme that I saw on instagram.
Anxiety Tracker + Triggers – I recently was diagnosed with PTSD, Mood disorder and Anxiety. My therapist and I have been working to see what triggers my anxiety and I saw a spread similar to this one in the Boho Berry Tribe on Facebook and I created something similar. The only thing I did was add a trigger page to keep track of any triggers I have.
Gratitude Log + One Line A Day – My therapist wants me to look for the positive in every day so I decided to use the gratitude log to share something I’m thankful for each day. I also plan to use the One Line A Day to think of one positive thing that happened that day. I think it’ll help me remember there is something positive in every day.
Blog Goals, Social Media Goals, TBR, Reading Log + Goals, Monthly Goals – I really loved how these spreads came out, I used my Tombow Dual Brush Pen to achieve this look. Every month I try and make blogging and social media goals to help promote my blog better. (Spoiler: I usually don’t achieve them at least not lately because of this slump.) This month I also decided to try a reading log because I’m aiming to read 31 books this month (as of today I don’t think that would actually happen) but I can try.
And there you have it! That’s my May set up, so far I’m enjoying my spreads and I feel like they’re really working for me. I’m actually really surprised that my bullet journal has lasted me more then 5 months. They tend to only last about 3 months but this one has lasted me longer. I believe that June would be my last month in this bullet journal and then I’ll be moving into a new one.
