Mid Year Freak Out Tag

1. Best book you’ve read so far in 2019.

I totally cheated but these three have been my top reads of 2019. AND TWO OF THESE ARE HISTORICAL FICTION, like who am I?
2. Best sequel you’ve read so far in 2019.
Legend is book 3 in the Arizona Vengeance series and it is one of my favorite hockey romance series at the moment. Legend was so good! I really enjoyed it. I’m excited for Dax that comes out in July.

3. New release you haven’t read yet, but want to.

I read and loved The Kiss Quotient and I am so excited to get to The Bride Test. I just borrowed the audiobook so I’m really excited to listen to this next.

4. Most anticipated release for the second half of the year.

Tacker is the book I’m most anticipating in the Arizona Vengeance series. We’ve seen bits and pieces of him throughout the other books and I just want him to get better. I’m so curious to see how his story will go. I feel like this book MIGHT make me cry.

5. Biggest disappointment.

The Perfect Date was a HUGE disappointment. I absolutely hated this one.

7. Favourite new author. (Debut or new to you)

I discovered Emma Hart last year because of her covers. She always has the most GORGEOUS covers. So I’ve been buying her books here and there and requesting them at the library. I have loved each one that I have read.

8. Newest fictional crush.

This is technically cheating because I read Thirsty last year but I loved it so much that I decided to read it again and I fell in love with Ghost all over again.

9. Newest favourite character.

The Nash Brothers is a new series by Carrie Aarons that concludes in July. I’ve loved each and every Nash Brother and their heroines.

10. Book that made you cry.

I haven’t read a book that has made me cry this year. I don’t know if you’ll say that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

11. Book that made you happy.

The Unhoneymooners was such a fun, quick, laugh out loud read. I loved it.

12. Most beautiful book you’ve bought so far this year (or received)

Daisy Jones & The Six has the most gorgeous cover. I haven’t read this one yet but I’ve heard really good things about it.

13. What books do you need to read by the end of the year?
