I wasn’t sure what to do for my 5th anniversary so I decided to do the New Year’s Resolutions tags. I found the video on Youtube and you can watch it here. It was two days and I just answered the questions together. If you do the tag, let me know! I want to read your answers.
The New Year’s Resolutions Tag
I’m semi cheating however, I have started a lot of Renee Carlino’s books and I ALWAYS end up putting them on the side for some reason. I WANT TO FINALLY FINISH ONE OF HER BOOKS.
2. A book you’d like to read.
I loved the Kiss Quotient and I really want to read The Bride Test.
3. A classic you’d like to read.
I re-read Cadaver and Queen and loved it and it made me want to read Frankenstein. I’d probably listen to the audiobook first.
4. A book you’d like to re-read.
My plan is to finally finish the trilogy. I really want to watch P.S. I Love You so I really want to read the book first. IT IS MY GOAL.
5. A book you’ve had for ages and want to read.
My mom bought me this series like 10+ years ago and I have yet to even finish the first book. And every year, I say I’m going to read it and hopefully 2020 makes that happen.
6. A big book you’d like to read.
7. An author you’ve previously read and want to read more of.
I haven’t read Twice in a Blue Moon yet but I do want to read more Christina Lauren in 2020. I really like their writing and I find myself getting out of slumps thanks to them.
8. A book you got for Christmas and would like to read.
I actually didn’t get any books for Christmas but I did get $100 so I may just buy some books. I haven’t really bought books in a while a really long time to be honest.
9. A series you want to read (start and finish)
Funny fact: J.C. Cervantes was one of my English professors in college. I read SO MANY amazing children’s books in her class that I still own today. I’d love to read her books finally. I was able to meet her last year and she signed this book and the sequel for my son and I.
10. A series you want to finish (that you’ve already started)
I recently listened to The Raven Boys again on my drive to Phoenix. I want to FINALLY finish the series so that I can read/listen to Call The Hawk Down.
11. Do you set reading goals? If so, how many books do you want to read in 2020?
I haven’t set an actual goodreads goal in a very long probably 3-4 years. However, I decided to go ahead and set a goodreads goal this year. I decided to challenge myself to read 92 books.
12. Any other reading goals?
I’ve joined a couple reading challenges and I plan to finish most of them.
