The Fourth Of July Book Tag

Happy 4th of July! Today, I’m going to be the 4th of July Book Tag that I found on Booktube. You can watch the original video here. 4th Of July Book Tag 1. Getting patriotic. Show three books you have already read, one red, one white and one blue. I really enjoyed Sugar Rush and Warcross and I was disappointed in The Perfect Date. 2. A books with your favorite “rag-tag” band of revolutionaries. I’m not sure if The Young Elites would count as Revolutionaries but I personally think they kind of were. I absolutely loved this series and since I’ve read all of Marie Lu’s books, I can honestly this series is her BEST series. 3. Show a book that takes place in one of the original 13 colonies. One of my favorite hockey series takes place in New York. I absolutely love the York Bombers Hockey Novel. 4. […]

Book Tag | Mid-Year Freak Out

I tag you, yes you reading this to do the tag. Mid Year Freak Out Tag 1. Best book you’ve read so far in 2019. I totally cheated but these three have been my top reads of 2019. AND TWO OF THESE ARE HISTORICAL FICTION, like who am I? 2. Best sequel you’ve read so far in 2019. Legend is book 3 in the Arizona Vengeance series and it is one of my favorite hockey romance series at the moment. Legend was so good! I really enjoyed it. I’m excited for Dax that comes out in July.  3. New release you haven’t read yet, but want to. I read and loved The Kiss Quotient and I am so […]

The Birthday Tag | Chapter 28.

It’s my birthday! I asked on twitter if you guys wanted to see the birthday tag or 28 facts about me. So I’m having a little trouble coming up with 28 facts so that will go up on Friday. The Birthday Tag Questions 1) Birthday Cake: A book with a plot that seems cliché but you adore it anyway. The Vincent Brothers was my first New Adult book and even though it was super cliche and if I read it now, I’d probably hate it completely. But when I first read it, it was amazing and I adored it. 2) Party Guests: Your most anticipated book release for this year. Sarah Dessen was the first YA author I ever read. One Christmas, my mom bought me a collection of her books (that I still have) and I just automatically by all her books and love everything she writes. This book […]

Book Tag | The Spring Cleaning Book Tag

Happy Spring! I personally love Spring Cleaning, I tend to go a bit overboard and throw out a whole of things. But I’ve never done a deep cleaning of my books. I was browsing through book tube when I came across The Spring Cleaning Book Tag, I decided to do it on the blog today. The Spring Cleaning Book Tag 1. The struggle of getting started: a book/book series that you have struggled to begin because of its size. 2. Cleaning out the closet: a book and/or book series you want to unhaul. I finally finished The Rosemary Beach series last year. The Rosemary Beach series was the first NA series, I had read and it was one that held a special place in my heart. I stopped reading around Mase’s book. I was just bored. I bought the rest of the series but I never felt the urge to […]

The New Year’s Book Tag

Happy New Year! I found this New Year’s Book Tag on youtube and just changed the dates to fit this year. You can watch the original video down below. 1. How many books are you planning to read in 2019? I actually haven’t set a goal to read an x amount of books in about three years. I’ve been setting my Goodreads goal to 1 and just see how many books I’ve read. I do think I may set a goal next year to see if I can actually achieve it but for right now, I’m not planning to read a certain number of books. 2. Name 5 books that you didn’t get to this year but want to make a priority in 2019. 3. What genre do you want to read more of? I really want to start reading more fantasy and sci-fi. I’m totally open to suggestions if […]

Book Tag: Winter Is Coming Book Tag

I found the Winter Is Coming tag on youtube and you can watch the original video down below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f97pF3_ZYco 1. Snow: It is beautiful when it first falls, but then it starts to melt. A book/book series that you loved at the beginning, but then, at the middle of it, you realized you don’t like it any longer. The Rosemary Beach Series by Abbi Glines. I had stopped keeping up with this series after Mase’s book. I just didn’t find myself wanting to continue it but I also felt like I had invested so much time (not to mention money) in buying the entire series that I needed to finish it. So this summer, I did that. I read all 13 (or 14) books and let me tell you, I remembered why I quit. I felt like certain characters shouldn’t have had a book. And honestly after Tripp and Bethy’s […]

2018 Mid Year Book Freak Out Tag

The Mid Year Book Freak Out Tag was a tag I found on youtube created by Chami & Ely. I just changed up the questions to fit this year. And I tag you to do it because I want to see your answers! Questions: 1. Best book you’ve read so far in 2018. The Hardest Fall is probably one of my favorite books of the year. I had a bit of a mini heart attack in the beginning because I almost DNFed since I thought the story was going one way then it didn’t. A review for this one will be up some time this week. 2. Best sequel you’ve read so far in 2018. Hard Hitter was my favorite book from The Brooklyn Bruisers. It was easily the best book of the series. 3. New release you haven’t read yet, but want to. Tesoro is one of my anticipated […]

The Library Lovers Book Tag

In honor of National Library Week, I decided to do the Library Lovers Book Tag! I found this tag over on Snowdrop Dreams, they are not the creator but I couldn’t find the actual creator of the tag but if you know the actual creator please let me know. 1. How often do you visit your local library? I visit the library quite frequently. I try and go to as many events the library has for the kids because I want them to love reading as much as I do. We visit a lot more during the summer because of the summer reading program. 2. Are you the type of person who checks out more books than you know you can read or are you someone who only checks out the exact amount of books you intend on reading before they are due? I definitely check out more books then […]

The Birthday Book Tag

The Birthday Book Tag

Today is my birthday! I couldn’t decide what kind of post I wanted to do but then I stumbled across The Birthday Tag. QUESTIONS FOR THE BIRTHDAY TAG: 1. Count your birth day along your bookshelf and then subtract your birth month. What book does it land on? 2. If you could spend your birthday with any fictional character who would it be and why? I would love to hang out with Ari and Dante. I live on the west side of town so I’d love for them to show me the East side (I’m a bit of a chicken when it comes to driving over there). 3. Find a book that takes place in the season you were born in. Is it incredibly sad that I couldn’t even think of books that take place in the Spring? Almost every book, I’ve read takes place in the summer or winter […]

Book Tag | I Love Spring

Book Tag | I Love Spring

I was browsing through Youtube and found I Love Spring tag and decided to do it here on my blog! The questions: 1) How is Spring where you live? Spring in my part of Texas is always around 80-90 degrees. It does get pretty windy in April. I’m talking winds where you can’t see anything but dirt. I hate driving in that kind of weather but when you live in the desert, you get use to it. Right now, it is only cold in the morning and hot during the day so it is like absolutely perfect. Then come May and we are met with 100 degree weather. 2) Most anticipated book release this Spring? I’m kind of into one of the MCs has been in jail and recently released. I was highly addicted to The Royals series by Erin Watt so I’m expecting a bit of an addiction to […]
